Tour de Hereford 2021 · 26 June 2021 to 18 July 2021 ·

The Tour de Hereford returns for a second year, raising funds to support the palliative care services provided by St Michael's Hospice. Cycle as far as you can during the 23 days of the Tour de France and support your Hospice mile after mile.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm planning to cycle 276 miles in 23 days this summer, starting June 26th, in memory of my cousin Jimmy Waller, of Keep Hill, Bromyard, who died @ 92 in February this year. Jimmy was a great supporter of St Michaels Hospice, he was a brilliant father to four girls, a superb old-school farmer and a treasured friend through life. 276 miles? That's three miles hard-pounding for each year of Jimmy's life and I'll chuck-in £O.25 per mile for every mile I exceed my target. Here's £25 to start the fund (just to prove I'm not slacking). We raised £1060 last year. With your generous help we can smash that total. St Michaels Hospice is entirely funded by private donations; every last penny makes a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
