After losing my mum to LUPUS in 1994 I found it incredibly difficult to even just talk about it. In 2022 I decided to run the London marathon in memory of my Mum and to raise awareness about LUPUS and to fundraise for LUPUS UK, the national charity that campaigns to help those with LUPUS and to fund research.
The experience of running the London marathon and the support I received from LUPUS UK has made me decide to run the London marathon in 2024 again to support LUPUS UK.
