On February the 17th 2016 My mother told me she had breast cancer. Not wanting to take the conventional route of
treatment she embarked on a task to cure herself without using these methods, such as chemo and radiotherapy. The past 5 years have been a huge roller-coaster, with her going into remission, it coming back as stage 4 and in the last few months of her life it spreading to her brain.
This was obviously very tough for here and if it had not been for the help of the hospice in the weald in past 6 months it would have been much harder. They provided a counsellor and Chaplin for her to speak to and had nurses to come and help her. Not only that but they had a wonderful nurse to care for her in her last hours.
Due to this extraordinary work that they have done I along with the boys in my house have decided to raise money to give back to them.
We chose to burn 3000000 calories as that is the approximate number of cancer patients in the UK and hope to raise £5000 for this amazing organisation.
