.My story with Henry Cavill and Durrell

Today I decided to tell you my story, not because I think it’s special - it isn’t by any means - but because it’s the only way I can think of to show you how much I appreciate your help with this fundraising. 

It all started in 2020. When the pandemic hit i was struggling to figure out how to live my life without someone very dear to me who I lost at the end of 2019. I was lucky enough to be able to work from home but this also meant that I basically locked myself away. For months my only exercise was walking from my bedroom to the kitchen to the bathroom and repeat. In the middle of this Henry, with The Witcher,  his previous movies, his silly and sweet isolations posts provided me with a lightness I desperately needed. Then the Durrell Challenge came. I decided to take it in Henry’s honor. It was a real blessing. The training forced me to finally go outside. Fast forward to now nothing has really changed that much. Henry still gives me hours of entertainment I’m very grateful for. Therefore I decided to start this fundraising to try and give him something back. I wouldn’t be able to do so without the help of all of you and for this I’m more grateful than my words can convey.
