We fund care to help people through a terminal illness

Story

The Family have decided: we are climbing the third highest point in England. And - to entice our friends to donate money to the incredible hospice that took care of Chris in his last days (and throughout his treatment) - we are going to make fools out of ourselves by doing it dressed as… The Fellowship of the Ring!

Well, different characters from LOTR, to be more accurate. There were a lot of last-minute changes, some big players committed their previously empty votes to one of the options, and at the eleventh hour, the race between Penfolds (who actually received a substantial amount of legit votes in the end!) and LOTR was really tight.

We are now in the process of assembling our costumes, so watch
this space for pictures of off-brand, budget hobbits! The donations are obviously still very much welcome if you’d like to encourage us on this silly yet noble quest💕

This climb is also a part of Chris's mum's, Sarah's, bigger pledge to raise 2.6k for Martlet's Camino de Santiago Trek 💃. She is taking on this huge challenge in memory of Chris and in support of the amazing charity that helped him. We hope to start her off with a good amount (and also provide some much-needed training before the real deal!)

Thank you all for your help and support 💕
