Families in both countries have lost their loved ones and are now without a home, clothes as well as food - while roads have been damaged and medical care is difficult to access. 

The only thing they have left is hope - hope that we will help them rebuild their lives. And with your financial generosity, we can make a change and get aid to these people as quickly as possible.

In a hadith, narrated by Sahih Muslim, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: sadaqah jariyah (ceaseless charity), a knowledge which is beneficial or a virtuous descendant who prays for him."

Remember, charity does not decrease wealth; please give whatever you can, be it a penny or a pound, it all counts.
