Fanconi Hope is a charity set up to sponsor research and support those affected by the rare genetic disorder Fanconi Anaemia that affects children and adults, leading to bone marrow failure and bone marrow transplantation, with very high risk of leukaemia and head and neck cancers.

Veer, our soon to be 6 year old son, has been very lucky in his journey with Fanconi Anaemia this far. He has recently had a successful bone marrow transplant and is now on the road to recovery from a haemotology perspective. Hopefully, we will soon be able move on with the next chapter of our lives. But we will always have the shadow of his condition looming over us, as he still has a very high risk of developing certain types of cancers.

Fanconi Hope are working very hard to improve options available for diagnosing and treating these cancers in the future. Also, they do so much to support families like ours, so they are a charity very close to our hearts. Please do donate whatever you can spare to support this amazing charity.
