Story
Greetings. As a 37 year old bald man, I should be spending more time drinking real ale and watching French movies. Instead, I am training to complete the 2017 Edinburgh marathon. This 26.2 mile route will test my legs, knees, hips, feet and nipples (I suffer quite badly from Runners Nipple which consists of nipple bleeding and a subsequent squeals from the shower).
I'll be running alone, like a loser, and as tough as the run will be - the training to get up to 28 May is where the graft is. Lots of running. Up hills. Down hills. Across hills. Honestly, the Hills family should move house really.
I'm raising money for my wife's employer, Equation. They are a fantastic local charity and you can see a little bit about them below.
If you would like to make a small donation, that would be really lovely of you. To be fair, I'm surprised you've made it down this far and are still reading this. Chances are, you are the first and only person that will read this. I could put anything here. Willies. Just like that. No-one ever gets this far down. but seeing as it's you, let me say THANKS. Any donation you make does make a difference. It really does.
James
(You can also text to donate - and your donation will be added to your mobile phone bill. Simply text EDNM79 followed by your donation amount to 70070. For example you text 'EDNM79 £2' to 70070. Easy.)
Equation blurb below....
1 in 4 women will still experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, so Equation challenge the attitudes and behaviours that cause domestic abuse. Their GREAT primary school project has won awards for enabling children to grow up understanding what a healthy relationship looks like and knowing how to build one for themselves. Equation give out safety information, support male survivors of abuse and bring the whole community together to provide the best possible response when abuse happens.
