Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

I'm entering an OLYMPIC TRIATHLON on 19th June 2017 in Windsor, Berks. This includes a 1.5km Lake Swim/42km Bike ride/10km Run.

I am doing this madness to raise significant donations to HELP LEO TO WALK

Leo is the son of my best friend Stefan Leyland and his partner Tarnia Baysting, was born 10 weeks premature in 2013, weighing just 2.2 pounds!
Leo defied the odds by pulling through but unfortunately there are often difficulties with such premature babies and Leo was no exception. Leo suffers from Hemiplegia which is a type of Cerebral Palsy meaning mobility and speech difficulties.

Read Leo's amazing story in full at the link below to understand the importance of raising this money for a life changing operation in the US.

For someone as overweight and unhealthy as myself it is going to take a mammoth EFFORT as I have started swimming but as yet haven't done a bike ride or a run! I am willing to put in a lot of TIME required to get fit to be able to get over the finish line without having a heart attack!....SOOOO.......

I am hoping YOU can make the EFFORT to take the TIME and donate some MONEY to this great cause. It's simple.

Thank you.
