Story

This year marks the 13th year that I have supported the needs of Camp Boggy Creek.  Thank you to the many that have supported this event.  The even this year is on Sunday, October 2, 2022.  I once again will be riding in support of children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Bruce Rossmeyer, the event founder, often expressed his dedication to the mission of Camp Boggy Creek by saying "It's all about the kids!" Camp Boggy Creek is a place of dreams, joy & possibilities, where kids can just be kids! Founded by Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf in 1996, Camp Boggy Creek has made it possible for children with serious illnesses to enjoy a camp experience in a safe, medically-sound environment. The 232-acre camp serves children ages 7-16 who've been diagnosed with chronic or life-threatening conditions at absolutely no cost to them or their families. Help me reach my goal and support the mission of Camp Boggy Creek by making a donation to my page today. Your support will ensure campers are able to attend camp absolutely free of charge! Thank YOU in advance!

About the charity

Camp Boggy Creek was founded in 1996 with one simple premise in mind, that every child could experience the spirit and friendships of camp. With unobtrusive expert medical care, Camp provides seriously ill children a place to forget the word “no” for a little while and embrace the promise of “yes”.
