This is Amaya. Thank you for visiting our page. Pray you are all well 🤗 

I will be trekking again to help raise money for Burundi, Africa. Last time you all were very kind and supportive. Me and my aunty raised £3,050 for Yemen which helped motivate and encouraged me to carry on my trek as it was very difficult at one point. I got stung by stinging nettles and it was very, very hot. But Alhamdulillah I did it!! 😁

I hope you can all support me again and the children of Burundi, like me. Please share my page and donate. I will make du'a for you all like last time. 

Here is some details to why I am doing this trek and what is in it for you 😁

Hope and Knowledge for Burundi - The children of Burundi, Africa will receive both an academic education and they will also receive Quranic education. With your help, they will get further in life and develop as individuals who will contribute to their society in a positive manner, InshaAllah. 

Why Burundi? In 2015, the primary school enrolment rate for children in Burundi (aged 5-14) was 61 percent. Only a 66 percent completion rate for primary education. 26 percent of children have to work alongside their education. The student teacher ratio in Burundi in 2011 was 29.4:1. 

Around 25 percent of all the country's schools were destroyed during a long lasting civil war which only ended in 2006, and many teachers were killed or became internally displaced.

Please help us to build up the future of Burundi and give them the HOPE and KNOWLEDGE.
