The Prophet (saw) was reported to have said: “the one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.

Assalamualaikum, myself and a few friends are fundraising for Penny Appeal’s OrphanKind appeal in order to sponsor three orphans for a year. We firmly believe every child deserves the chance to have a childhood, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

£15 sponsors one orphan for one month and it costs £180 to sponsor one orphan for one year. Once we reach the target we will be able to support FOUR orphans for a year in Shaa Allah. The money raised will enable these children to have nutritious meals, clothes, healthcare, an education and a dedicated guardian all in a loving and caring home; things which many of us take for granted ourselves.
