Story

Assalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu and Ramadan Kareem!
Dearest family and friends, we’re sure that all of you have witnessed the latest devastating headlines for the floods in Pakistan. The UN has rated it as the greatest humanitarian crisis in comparison to recent international atrocities: affecting 20 million and more than 1,600, are dead. Despite this, not enough money is being raised to provide aid and relief for these people!
Muslim Hands Emergency Teams have immediately begun relief work in the afflicted areas of Baluchistan, Khaybar Pakhtunkhwa, Southern Punjab and Muzaffarabad. Your donations will provide family food parcels, cooked food distribution, drinking water, medical care, and tents...all of which is critical at this point in time.
This is a very testing time for the flood victims, but let us not forget that in times of such calamity, it is a bigger test for the rest of the Ummah to see what we do to help our brothers and sisters in need within our means.
Our collective mission is to raise as MUCH as we can with the help of the people that we have come to love and know. Please help us do this! We will also be doing a sponsored silence (most of you will know this will be very hard for the two of us..!). There is no better month than the blessed month of Ramadan, in which your rewards will be multiplied, so dig deep and be assured that Muslim Hands will use 100% of the donation for those who are in desperate need of our help!
“Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return.” (Surah Al Baqarah: V.245)
