Helix Day Service provides day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, those who have a visual impairment, hearing impairment, wheelchair users and people with complex communication needs. 

Our wonderful service users are raising money for The Windward Foundation by taking part in a charity sports week. Activities to be completed during the week include… sailing, swimming, horse riding, trampolining, orienteering, cricket and many more! Each person will be set 1 or more challenges to complete throughout the week, e.g. swim 5 lengths, make cheer leading pom poms, find your way out of the forest, get a bulls eye on the darts board etc.

If our service users complete all of their tasks, there will be a special treat for them at the end of the week… #spongeasupportworker 

We are looking for generous sponsors to support our guys on their fitness quest to success! With the money we raise, we are hoping to buy a manual hoist, changing bed and a 'chill-out' cabin to put in our car park on site that will be used daily by the people who use our service.
