Story

Hi all,

I couldn't find the Midnight Walk on the 'organised event' list, but I'll be walking the 6 miles for many reasons, and in particular in memory of my Nana who died of breast cancer in 1994. I was only 9 at the time but I clearly remember the amazing care she received in her own home, and the support given to the family. I am walking for all people who are going through the very difficult experience of losing a loved one in this way. I am walking for the people who are going through it themselves. I am walking for the fantastic, compassionate carers who are so generous with their time and understanding.

Thank you,

Helen
