I'm running Race for Life again this year because I think it's a brilliant way to bring people together and raise awareness.

I'm running, as always, in memory of my lovely mum, who we lost to a brain tumour in 2011. Brain cancer currently receives just 1% of the national spend on cancer research, but we know that without research and understanding there's just helplessness. Cancer Research UK's vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
