At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

At the start of each year i write a list of all the things i want to achieve to make sure that no matter what i've had an incredible year.

Living out in Switzerland i feel very much out of the social enterprise/charity fundraising scene that was always really important to me, so i set myself a goal that this year i would do something that would challenge me physically and would hopefully raise a lot of money for a good cause.

Why Alzheimers? It's sad to think that 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 are affected by this. In all likelyhood that means we will all have atleast 1 grandparent affected by this. Therefor i believe this is a great cause that means a lot to most people.
