My sister and I are running a half marathon to raise money for Alzheimers for our dad. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimers since the age of 63 and now at 71 he is cared for extremely well by the nurses and staff at Murray Royal Hospital. He was always a very fit and active man and if he was aware of what we were doing I am sure he would be very proud and would probably want to join us (and beat us to the finish line!!)
