Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In a week's time I'll be running the Bristol Half Marathon (again!) and for those who have known me from my past and for those who know me in my present, running long distances and I have never gone hand in hand! However this time I have a new incentive...

Charlton Farm is my local Children's Hospice. It is one of only two Children's Hospices in the whole of the South West. It is a wonderful place which is funded almost entirely by voluntary donations from people like yourself. They need £6 million to run it each year. As a parent, it is the the one place that you would hope never to use and the one place that you would hope exists should you need to.

I'm not trying to raise a lot of money, I'm just trying to do my bit. Please help me support a fantastic facility which cares for 1000 life-limited children making the most of their short and precious lives.

Thanks. x

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
