Story
Hello all, and thank you for visiting my page.
2 years ago, I learnt that my grandfather had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The doctors said he had 6 months left to live, at the most.
Amazingly, he is still alive today... But still battling with his cancer, with chimiotherapy and his strong spirit.
Everytime I visit him in Paris, I am amazed at how determined he is to keep doing things he has always enjoyed, like cooking a LOT of food for his guests! Unfortunately he cannot travel anymore, which is quite hard for him, as he has been travelling the world with his family all his life.
I felt a bit powerless, here in London, and wished I could do something for him, and for all the people who have to fight cancer, or who have lost a loved one to it.
This is why, when I saw a Shine Walk poster the other day in the tube, I thought it was the perfect thing to do. For my "pépé", and for all the grandparents, mums, dads, uncles, aunties, brothers, sisters, husbands and wives, and all those affected by cancer.
To help me reach my £150 target, please dig deep and sponsor me – it’s quick, easy and totally secure, and you can donate from all around the world. THANK YOU!!
Here is a bit more information about pancreatic cancer:
