Story
Many of you will know that I was diagnosed with cancer in May 2020 and I am lucky to have my amazing family and friends supporting me.
I appreciate that I am one of the "lucky" ones as I was swiftly diagnosed during lockdown and so far, my treatment plan has been un-interrupted. This isn't the case for so many, so please donate if you can to help support this amazing charity.
Currently, the prediction is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer, that is a shocking statistic.
I attend the Helen Rollason Day Centre for my chemo every three weeks and the NHS staff there are fantastic. There is always a great atmosphere, lots of laughter and 24/7 support.
I want to give something back to them and as my hair is leaving my head, I thought let's crack on and shave it off. My son, Will (13) is going to do the deed (but we are going to have some fun first with hair dyes and styles as I never did it in my teens!). I will share the pictures in all of their glory!!
Please donate if you are able to, this is a fantastic charity who offer support to patients and their families. They offer counselling and complimentary therapies which, just make the whole cancer journey that little bit easier!
Thanks in advance, H xxx
