Well. It's over and I did it! I finished in 5hours 17 minutes and 11 seconds!

I went through every emotion in those 5+hours. The sense of achievement is amazing and the whole experience was overwhelming. I can honestly say that I could not have done it without the support of my friends and family along the route. I had to make sure I was running and not walking when I went passed them. Jonny would never have let me live it down! Also, you cannot underestimate the boost and support the crowd gives. There was not a quiet moment along the entire route. Outstanding memories were

*   the sign telling me to "muovi quelle chiappe"

*   the "highway to Hell" blaring out making me bounce down the road

*   the fantastic percussion bands under the overpasses reverberating magnificently

*   the gospel group singing "Oh happy Day"

*   unexpectedly seeing Louise in the crowd at 22nd mile - Brilliant!
