Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My wonderful Grandma, Elizabeth Dow, unfortunately died from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2011. For those of you that had the pleasure of knowing her, you will remember that she never sat still and was always keeping busy. She gave a huge amount of her time for the benefit of others.

So....I have decided that the best way to honour her memory is to make sure I am also very busy, and so I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2015 to raise money and awareness for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

I am funding the trip myself so every penny you donate goes directly to this wonderful charity that researches treatments and possible cures for this horrible disease that affects everyone from the very young to the very old. Please please give generously!

Thanks, Helen x
