Story

In 2017 I learned that my beautiful school friend had given birth to twin boys Henry and Stanley. Sadly Henry only survived a month, but received the best care at Little Roos NICU (St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey). You can find his story here; https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/henry-our-star

His mummy, Kelly and I have known each other since we were 4 and she has dealt with some very difficult times. Her courage and her tireless commitment to raising money in memory of Henry to support babies like Henry is an inspiration.

An incubator like the one Henry had costs around £80,000 and that is the goal. If by running London I can raise some money to support such a worthwhile cause, then 26.2 miles will mean so much more and hurt a whole lot less!

Please support Henry and Little Roos in any way you can and ensure that his name lives on.

About the charity

Previously called the Early Births Fund, the fund was set up in 2003 with the aim of raising £250,000 to provide additional intensive care cots for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This goal was achieved in 2 short years. The fund has continued on to support babies, families & staff on the NICU.
