The British Red Cross, a charity incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

Story

I'm running the 2019 London Marathon to raise £2000 for the British Red Cross. As an enthusiastic runner I'm excited to face the challenge of running a marathon for a cause close to my heart.

I've been working at the BRC for over a year, and have seen some of the incredible work this movement contributes to, both in the UK and internationally.

The Red Cross has probably touched your life in someway, without you realising - whether it's through re-connecting distant relatives, supporting Grandparents with a hearing or mobility aid, or providing First Aid at an event you attended. It helps people in crisis, whether this is people coming home from hospital, survivors of the Grenfell fire, or people living through conflict and famine in Yemen.

I would REALLY appreciate anything you are able to donate to my fundraising efforts :)

Thank you!
