Story
I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 28th of May to raise money for Samaritans, in memory of my amazing mum who sadly passed away in 2014 after losing her battle with mental health.
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health struggle in their lifetime. The Samaritans offer a voice to listen and support those in times of crisis and desperation. It is a service we hope to never need to use, but it's availability for when many do is invaluable. I am proud to be raising money to support this incredible service.
Since running has become my only personality trait now, I thought I should finally bite the bullet and run the big 26 miles! What better way to raise money for Samaritans too.
