I started working for Cats Protection in Jan 2019, supporting 12 volunteer run branches in the North West. Their commitment and dedication to cat welfare is truly inspiring.

October 2020 was a big birthday for me, and I wanted to challenge myself to reach new levels of fitness and raise funds to support the amazing and tireless cat welfare work of my branches. Due to the COVID pandemic our trip was delayed from September 2020 to 2022

I started with a strict training programme which was designed to build the stamina and strength I'll need to trek 46 very hilly km over 3 consecutive days, and I'm under no illusions, this will not be easy! I'll now be working hard to maintain the fitness levels I've already achieved and hopefully get even fitter.

I'm funding the costs of the trip myself, so every penny raised goes directly to cat welfare, and will be split equally between the North West branches.
