My mum's life changed over night when she suffered a stroke a few months back. Her recovery was slow and unfortunately deteriorated rapidly, even though she tried hard to overcome the obstacles. 

Mum was a fiercely independent lady, who did everything for herself.....even travelling around the world to be with me and my family. 

Losing that independence and way of communicating, so quickly, is devastating for both the sufferer and the family........fortunately she never lost her sense of humour !

My mum was my best friend and will be sorely missed by family, friends and colleagues alike. I'd be most obliged if you would please make a donation, however big or small, to this very worthwhile charity, to help change the lives of many across Scotland.
