I am going to try and drag myself 13.2 miles on the 21st of September for a great charity .......so please let me explain why they are important to me.
The picture above is of the Queen (in 1939) visiting the Richmond Poppy Factory with my Great Grandad (on the right), who was working there because he was injured in the Battle of the Somme in WWI.
This year marks 100 years since The First World War but unfortunately bloodshed continues. I would like to fundraise to support a charity which supported my Grandfather and continues to support disabled veterans.
