I ran the Women's Running 10k in Nottingham on Sunday 12 July. I hoped to finish in an hour and 10 minutes and actually managed an official race time of 1:09:10!

I ran for my Dad, Derek Troth, a wonderfully kind, clever and funny man who has dementia. He has become anxious, scared and confused and, at the moment, there is no cure and not enough treatment.

I am hoping that with your help in sponsoring me, we will be able fund research to find a cure and provide support to people with dementia and the people who love them.
