Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK by walking the 100km from Putney Bridge to Henley, hopefully in under 24 hours.

I have two good friends Paul and Sue whose lives have been affected by pancreatic cancer and who have been supported by Pancreatic Cancer UK, hence why I am gaining blisters and raising money for this worthwhile charity.

Pancreatic cancer is the fifth biggest cancer killer, but has one of the poorest survival rates.  Please help Pancreatic Cancer UK continue its great work supporting sufferers of this horrible disease, and to achieve its aim of improving survival rates.

Thank you for your donation, however small towards my target.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
