Charity cycle for The Christie:
My funny, beautiful and simply lovely best mate, Amy, died on 10 May 2016 after a short but very brave fight against secondary cancer. Amy's last two weeks were spent in The Christie hospital, Manchester, which is a hospital dedicated to providing excellent care for cancer patients.

In October 2016 Amy and I would have been celebrating our 20th "anniversary". To honour our wonderful friendship and to raise some funds for The Christie, I've decided to cycle around Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) on 20 separate occasions. One complete lap of the lake is about 180 km and I've done it twice, so it will take me another 18 separate days, that will be dotted over weekends in the weeks and months to come. Cycle 3 will be on Saturday 4 June. Cycle 4 will be on 12 June with a very convenient footie bbq part way around. Cycle 20 will be on .....?? watch this space :)
