Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.  Until the day they find a cure, they will continue to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted.

All diseases are awful and I know that many people we have loved have been taken too soon.  However, with dementia, first it steals your memories and then it takes your life.  I've had family members that have been taken in this way, and so I'd like to do my bit to help find a way to help those who might be affected in the future.

This walk will definitely be a challenge - my knees are already complaining! - but it WILL be worth it.  Your help and encouragement means a lot.  The challenge is still a few months away and training is well underway, but any support you can give will help to keep me motivated and focused - thank you.
