I have decided to challenge myself next year by walking over 100,000 steps on the great wall of china to fundraise for Help the Heros.

I am completely self funding, so every penny that is raised here goes straight to the cause.

The reason I have decided to push myself is to show that anyone can achieve what they put their mind too. I am not the most sporty person, but will continue to challenge myself every year in order to make a small difference in the world.

I have chosen help for the hero's as they are a symbol of hope to many people who have been through extra-ordinarily tough experiences in order to serve and protect us all.

I have a great respect for every military personal who is able to dedicate their lives to protecting society.

Help for the Heroes supports those with injuries and illnesses sustained while serving in the British Armed Forces. No matter when somebody served, they are offered the support they need to lead active, independent and fulfilling lives. Help for the Hero's specialises in providing support in the following area's: Medical, Mind, Body, Spirit and Family. Long term support is more than just repairing damaged bodies and mind's, its about rebuilding lives.
