Well as you may now know Nicola and I are running the London Marathon for Saint Francis Hospice in memory of Steve Parker, Laurie's husband.

Steve was the kind of person you never thought anything would ever happen to, if you needed him for anything he was there, and when he became ill Saint Francis Hospice was there for him, Laurie and his children especially his youngest two Abby and Lucy

Not only did they give Steve fantastic care in his last days but they gave and continue to give Laurie, Abby and Lucy support and aftercare for as long as they need it.

As I said Steve was someone who you never would have thought would need such care, so it just goes to show you never know when you may need such help and support.
