We fund people, projects and charities to change young lives in the UK

Story

We are braving the icy winds and blizzards (possibly) of the Lake District in April to trek up the five peaks of: Helvellyn (the second highest mountain in England at 3,117 ft) on Day 1, Helm Crag and Eagle Crag on Day 2, and then High Spy and Cat Bells on Day 3, in an attempt to raise some funds for BBC Children in Need. We will be going higher even than the hardy Lakeland sheep.

We feel really passionate about the work done by BBC CiN. It really does make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, who are living challenging lives, all over the UK.
