Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who may not know, I lost my Mum in 2007 aged only 60 to Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is the most common disease of the nervous system and affects approximately 85,000 people in the UK. It is an incurable disease that causes inflammation of the myelin sheath that surrounds the nerves and prevents the normal conduction of electrical messages between the brain and body.

During her long battle with the illness she had treatment at the West Yorkshire MS Therapy Centre, the treatment and support that she got from there helped her immensley, she also made friends their too. The centre relies solely upon donations, subscriptions and fund-raising activities to provide help to MS sufferers 6 days a week.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now and help other receive the treatment and support like my Mum did.
