On June 8th 2011 my boyfriends Mum sadly passed away after suffering from cancer. She spent the last two months of her life at Holme Towers, Penarth.  Here, the Marie Curie nurses were amazing, nothing was any trouble. We can't thank them enough for keeping her comfortable, making sure she wasn't suffering too much, and just being there for reassurance, support and a chat. We can't thank them enough for not only what they did for her but the aftercare they provided to us. It's been a hard few months but now we'd like to give something back to them. Myself and Mark are doing a 10k walk in Margam Park in memory of Moira on September 9th. We are trying to raise as much as we can so other families can experience the dignity and support that we did. We would be grateful for any donation, however small. It costs £20 to provide an hour of free Marie Curie Nursing Care. Thank You
