Mountain biking??  me???

I'd not ridden a bike for 25 years when I pedaled out on my shiny new mountain bike on a freezing morning in Jan 09.  I soon wondered what on earth I was doing.  It was wet, slippery and much harder work than jogging!

Six months later I'm much fitter, stronger and ready to tackle the South Downs Way over 2 days...along with 60 friends and colleagues!  The Noel Orhpanage in Rwanda is so in need of our help it's hard to transmit here.  Suffice to say that your money will go directly to helping some of Africa's most needy kids.  2 days of a sore bum is a small price for me to pay to help these kids.  And my kids at Southdown Nursery will also benefit, because some of the funds raised will go towards saving our lovely old building from ruin.
