Those of you who have been keeping up to date with me the last couple of years know I have been through a massive weight loss journey which I am really proud of. It has taken me 2 years of hard work but I have managed to lose six and a half stone despite a number of obstacles which life has thrown at me, such as being made redundant and a miscarriage, but I am a very determined person, some might say stubborn! 

Running has been the key to my weight loss, along with the support of my ever suffering partner, Andrew. Getting a place in the Berlin Marathon has really inspired me to push myself hard with my training to see just how far I have come and how far I can really go if I try!
