I'm taking on The Myton Hospices Coventry Cathedral Abseil in memory of my mum who died in May of this year at Myton Hospice and to help raise funds for the hospice where my mum spent the last six weeks of her life. 

I cannot express my gratitude and heartfelt  thanks enough for the caring and compassionate nature with which all the staff looked after my mum and also myself and my family.

Myton Hospice relies almost entirely on voluntary contributions, the Coronavirus pandemic continues to have a significant impact on their ability to raise vital funds. This year alone they expect to see a significant drop in voluntary income of at least £2 million. They have made significant cost savings to protect patient and family services and to safeguard for the future but they need the support of me and you more than ever before. Playing their part in the response to Covid-19 whilst providing dedicated care and support for terminally ill patients, and their families, in their inpatient beds and in the community continues to be their primary focus, and they need to raise millions every year to do this.
