Fundraising is hugely important to Age UK Rotherham. As a trustee at the charity and someone who has worked around active ageing for 20 years, I want to raise funds to help us do more. The pandemic has put more pressure on services and caused more older adults to become lonely and isolated...help us to support people to re-engage with their communities and access other services, or just provide that bit of additional support!

The Round Rotherham Run is a 50 miler ultramarathon. I have completed it before but not since I have had my two children and been back at work after maternity leave. It has been tough to get out and train!
