Story

As many of you know, this is a cause very close to my heart. Dementia and Alzheimer’s is something that affects just about every family in one way or another. Did you know that 1 in 14 of the population of over 65s in the UK have a form of dementia? As someone approaching 60, with a family history, to me that’s a pretty scary statistic. So I am taking this challenge to help raise much needed funds for Alzheimer’s UK who do so much to support families living with dementia. On September 11th I shall be walking with my friend Ruth, and a group of others around Stonehenge… I’ll be carrying my mum in my heart all the way. Salisbury, here I come!
