It will help to feed and clothe the children as well as pay for things like beds, blankets, and furniture. It will also help to pay for books and toys and for presents on special occasions of the children’s lives.

Isaac’s House vision is to build, establish and maintain a home for children in affected by War, H.I.V. and Poverty.  We want to create a safe, sustainable environment in which health, education and growth can be achieved.

The charity was founded by Paul Howells in 2008. Having visited and seen at first hand the squalor some of the orphaned children were living in he felt compelled to do more. Researching more into the background of the children he discovered that many suffered from poor living conditions, the threat of illness, lack of medical supplies and famine.

 

Some of the orphaned children from northern supported by Isaac’s house have witnessed and suffered at first hand from the appalling atrocities committed by this group. The children have in some cases physical scars but many more have mental scars. They have suffered unimaginable horrors. Despite the atrocities committed by this group there are brave people in who do their best to support and protect their families and their communities. 

Many of the children supported by Isaac’s House are from the north of .They are brought south to Isaac’s House away from the dangerous areas to rebuild their lives. Where possible we intend to keep family groups of children together.
