Hi Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my sponsorship page and donating towards such a worthy cause 'Against Breast Cancer', a charity uniquely dedicated to research with the goal of improving detection and increasing survival after breast cancer diagnosis.

A little about the breast cancer;

- It is now the most common form of cancer

- More than 47,000 women are diagnosed each year-that's 130 each day

- 1 in 8 women will develop the disease

- Around 340 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer each year

As most of you know I am currently training for the Reading Half Marathon this coming April. As well as running this half marathon for charity it is also a huge challenge for me, one that I have spent hours pounding the streets of Berkshire for in all the elements, minus degrees, snow, wind and rain. As my training comes to an end (much to my dismay) I am feeling confident and motivated thanks to all your kind donations and generosity.

I aim to complete the run in 2 hours and 20 minutes with NO stopping and I will be sure to update my page and let you all know how I did on the day.
