Story

Love dogs, like a challenge....

I'd signed up to the Great North Run in Sept 2014 because I wanted to do something in memory of my dog Max who used to run with me. But in Aug 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer and started chemo treatment really quickly so I couldn't do the run as planned. Two years on it's now Sept 2016 and I'm back for the half-marathon challenge  and aiming to raise funds again for Guide Dogs.

Guide dogs are amazing - they transform lives.

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
