Story
Due to covid we haven't been able to do our charity walks for the past two years. Who would of thought that in October 2021 I would have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Everything is fine and I will walk in July but it has highlighted even more so now, the amazing work Macmillan do for people. The support I have received has been amazing and I just want to give something back.
15/02/2022 - My Oncology appointment today and amazingly for me I have only got to have 5 days of Radiotheraphy. I have met some amazing inspirational people throughout my journey, my thoughts are with them and I wish them well ❤❤❤
15/03/2022 - Training is going well - Slow, steady and it has been rather muddy. So proud of my son Harry Clarke who is walking with me. He has set his target at £500, once reached he is going to be loosing all his curls, only £41 to go 😊❤
Fingerscrossed I start my Radiotheraphy on Thursday 17/03/22., not sure how I am feeling at the moment but with the love and support around me I know I am going to be absolutely fine.
24/03/2022 - Update... Radiotheraphy completed 23/03/2022, feeling tired and emotional but thankful that they caught this early and everything went well.
28/03/2022 - After 5 months of working from home it was my first day back in the office and it was great. Feel so upbeat and looking forward to what the future holds.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people that have helped me get through this, from all the well wishes, love and support you will never know how much this means 💖💖💖
