London Landmarks Half Marathon 2021 · 1 August 2021 ·
When I was 21 my mum had a stroke. She was fit, healthy and young (56), and it was a huge shock. Over 4 years later and she has learnt to walk and talk again. Every single day she works hard to do things that a lot of people take for granted. She’s still improving a little bit each day, she takes everything one day at a time, and is more determined than anyone I know. I’m running a half marathon this year for Stroke Association so they can continue to help the millions of families that are affected by strokes all over the country. It would mean the world to be able to contribute to their amazing work. Any donation at all is appreciated!
