Story

On 2nd June 2013 I will be taking part in the Free Radio Black Country 'Walk for Kids', a 13 mile circular walk starting and finishing at Molineux Stadium.

The aim of the walk is to raise much needed funds for Acorns Children's Hospice, Russells Hall Hospital, Promise Dreams, Hope House and also smaller community projects as nominated by the public, Chaos! and Sparks.

Additional information for each charity can be found at their respective websites:

Acorns - www.acorns.org.uk
Russells Hall Hospital - www.dgh.nhs.uk
Promise Dreams - www.promisedreams.co.uk
Hope House - www.hopehouse.org.uk
Chaos! (INSIGHT for Carers) - www.insightforcarers.org
Sparks - www.sparks.org.uk

Please take a little time to have a look at these sites and see where monies raised would be going.

I personally have taken part in various fundraising events including zumbathons, 5k runs and climbing Snowdon - all for worthwhile charities - but this, to me, feels very different.  I feel very proud to be involved in an event that is raising funds for local children / charities.  I would appreciate your support and donations.
