We fund medical research to find a cure for Parkinson's

Story

I am running the Liverpool half Marathon on 23rd March 2014 to raise money for Parkinson's The Cure.

My dad Kevin wad diagnosed in February 2013 and it has changed not only my dad's life but the family's.

My dad was forced to retire from work soon after his illness was diagnosed as a manual worker for over 40 years this is something he and others suffering struggle to come to terms with, and simple daily tasks can become extremely challenging.

Parkinsons is a very cruel debilitating illness and I am desperate to raise money to go towards finding a cure to help my dad and others suffering.

Running isn't something that comes easy to me and is a huge challenge, the marathon is 11 weeks away and I am training hard, it's a huge challenge and I really want to make my dad proud as he will be there on the day cheering me on.

Please please give generously to help find d a cure to help my dad and others

Thank you

Helen xxx
